This package installs the software (Wireless WAN driver) to enable the following device.

Requirements
If you use ThinkVantage Access Connections, the following software must be installed.
Before installing this software, you should install Windows Vista fix module KB948278. The detail information and how to obtain the KB948278 module is located in the following Microsoft's site. To verify if the KB948278 module is installed properly
Click Start, then click Control Panel.
Find 'Programs and Features' and click. If this option does not exist on the window, choose Classic View to find it.
On "Tasks" pane, click on View installed updates.
Verify that KB948278 is included in the list of installed updates.
Installation Instructions
Notes:
If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to restart the computer after installation.
Manual Install
This section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer.
[Downloading file]
Click once on the underlined file name. Once this is done, some pop-up windows will appear.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
In the window to choose Run or Save, click the Save button.
Choose the folder you would like to download the file to and click the Save button. A different window will appear and the download will begin and complete. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully.
[Extracting file]
Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.
Locate the directory where the file was downloaded.
Locate the file that was downloaded and double-click it.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
In the "Select Destination Location" window, click Next. If you would like to select a different folder, click Browse.
In the "Ready to Install" window, click Install. All the necessary files will be extracted to the folder selected in the step 9.
[Installing files]
Make sure the checkbox next to "Install ..... now" is checked and click Finish.
Follow the instructions on the screen to complete installation and restart the computer. IMPORTANT: Make sure to restart the computer after installation.
Finally delete the file saved in Step 4.
Silent Install
Note: This is intended for system administrators' use only.
Refer to the "Manual Install" section, and download and extract the file.
In the step 11 of the "Installing files" section, uncheck the checkbox next to "Install ..... now", and then click Finish to cancel installation.
At the command line, execute setup.exe with the /s option. Example: [Path where the files were extracted]\setup /s
Determining which version is installed
[Windows Vista]
Click Start, then click Control Panel.
Make sure View by Category is selected, and click Uninstall a program.
Select Organize, select Layout, then select Details Pane. The Details Pane will be shown at the bottom of screen.
Click Ericsson Wireless Module Core.
Check the product version in the Details Pane.
[Windows XP]
Click Start, click Control Panel.
Select Add or Remove Programs. For Classic Start menu, click Start, select Settings, click Control Panel, and double-click Add or Remove Programs.
Click Ericsson Wireless Module Core, then click Click here for support information.
