This package provides the video driver for Microsoft Windows Vista 64 bit users. This package installs the software (display (VGA) driver and audio driver) to enable the following devices on the system board.

Summary of Changes

Version 7.15.10.1591-6.10.0.2067

  • (Fix) Fixed an issue that the screen flickers while playing video playback when powered by battery.
  • (Fix) Fixed an issue that the screen ripples on the external display after the display output switches to both LCD and external display when powered by battery.

Installation instructions
Installing the driver
  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Vista64\VIDEO
  3. Click Start, then click All Programs.
  4. Click Accessories, then click Run...
  5. Specify "SETUP.EXE" with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\DRIVERS\Vista64\VIDEO\SETUP.EXE
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  7. Click Finish to reboot the system to complete the installation.

Unattended install
This procedure is intended for system administrator use only.
  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Vista64\VIDEO
  3. Click Start, then click All Programs.
  4. Click Accessories, then click Run...

Determining which version is installed

Intel GM45:

  1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. Click System and Maintenance.
  3. Click System.
  4. Click Device Manager.
  5. Click the + sign in front of the Display adapters category.
  6. Double-click 'Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family'
  7. Click the 'Driver' tab. Then you will see the Driver Version.

Intel HDMI Audio:

  1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. Click System and Maintenance.
  3. Click System.
  4. Click Device Manager.
  5. Click the + sign in front of the "Sound, video and game controllers" category.
  6. Double-click 'Intel(R) High Definition Audio HDMI'
  7. Click the 'Driver' tab. Then you will see the Driver Version.
