The accompanying InterVideo WinDVD Upgrade package can update the InterVideo WinDVD Player for Microsoft Windows 98SE, Microsoft Windows 2000, and Microsoft Windows XP.

(Fix) If standby and hibernation are performed while using an extended desktop, an image will not be displayed by reproduction of DVD.
(Fix) When the position coordinates of secondary display are negative, an image will not be displayed by reproduction of DVD.

(Fix) Closed caption is always disabled after computer resumes from standby or hibernation.

II. Installation instructions NOTES:
This driver can only be used on the supported ThinkPad systems listed above.
This package can not be installed without the InterVideo WinDVD already installed in the system. This package is for upgrade purpose only. Not all ThinkPad systems are shipped with the DVD player software. If shipped with your system, the full version of this software can be found in the C:\ibmtools\apps directory. This only applies if you are using the preloaded software image as shipped.
Software Installer provides automatic install and uninstall wizards for this package.
Standard install
Start Windows.
Extract the package to your hard drive.
Click Start and then click Run.
In the Open field, type "C:\DRIVERS\WIN\DVD\SETUP.EXE" to install the InterVideo update. Click OK start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Unattended install NOTE: This is for system administrators' use only.
Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
Extract this package onto the hard drive.
Click Start and then click Run.
In the Open field, type "C:\DRIVERS\WIN\DVD\SETUP.EXE-S -SMS" to install the InterVideo Player Update application. Click OK start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
II. Determining which version is installed
Click Start, select Programs, select InterVideo WinDVD, and then click InterVideo WinDVD. The DVD Panel player is launched.
Right-click the DVD Panel player and then click About.
