Power button might not power on system in dock while LCD closed - ThinkPad T410, T510
Symptom

Fixed an issue where the computer might not be powered on by pressing the power button of the Docking Station while the LCD was closed


Affected configurations

Any of the following ThinkPad systems running Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 may be affected by this symptom

  • T410
  • T510

 

Solution

Latest bios for T410 (BIOS: 1.28 / ECP: 1.11) and T510 (BIOS: 1.27 / ECP: 1.14) resolves this issue
