This package installs an update to the Microsoft Windows 95 (OSR2) and Microsoft Windows 98 device driver for the onboard SoundMAX audio that comes preinstalled in your IBM computer. This update requires approximately 12MB of space on your hard disk (drive C).
This update package is intended for IBM Aptiva and IBM NetVista systems that comes with SoundMAX audio on the systems board.

Hardware and software dependencies This driver has been designed for and tested with Windows 95 OSR2 and Windows 98. This driver is intended to be used with Windows 95 OSR2 and Windows 98.
1. The system must contain an ICH chip set. 2. The Windows 95 Operating System OSR2, must be installed on the system. 3. Must be installed with DirectX(TM) 5 or greater, but DirectX 6 or greater is recommended. DirectX is available from Microsoft at http://www.microsoft.com/directx/.
Downloading the update
Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.
Installing the update
Click Start, select Find, then click Files or Folders.
Type d63z32us.exe in the search field, then click Find Now. This will locate the d63z32us.exe file you just downloaded.
Double-click the icon for d63z32us.exe.
Click Next.Read the license agreement.
Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
Click Next.
Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\Drivers\D63Z30US.
Click Next.
Follow the onscreen prompts and choose to reboot at the end of installation.
