II. Installation instructions
Notes:
If you have installed the "Utility Wizard", uninstall it and reboot first before you install this package. Then you need to install the following package:
ThinkPad Battery MaxiMiser and Power Management Features package
Software Installer provides install/uninstall wizard for this package.
Start Windows 98/Me/2000/XP. For Windows 2000/XP, logon with a User ID of Administrator.
Extract this package onto the hard drive.
Click Start and then click Run.
In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\PDIRECT and click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Unattended Install
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.
Start Windows 98/Me/2000/XP. For Windows 2000/XP, logon with a User ID of Administrator.
Extract this package onto the hard drive.
Click Start and then click Run.
In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\PDIRECT -S -SMS and click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
III. Determining which version is installed
Start Presentation Director Wizard and see the first page. You will see the version information on the screen.
