Windows Vista Complete PC Backup cannot recognize the first backup DVD during restore - Notebooks
Symptom
When restoring the system from a set of Microsoft Windows Vista Complete PC Backup DVDs, the system cannot recognize the first DVD inserted. The system returns a "No valid backup locations could be found" message. This may happen on more than one backup DVD.

Affected configurations
Any ThinkPad or 3000 Family notebook running Windows Vista.

Solution
Insert the last DVD of the backup set first, then follow the prompt to insert your backup DVDs one by one.

Additional information
This is a limitation of Windows Vista. This problem only occurs when Complete PC Backup needs more than one DVD for backup.
