The V.90 Modem Internet Kit features a full-function V.90/x2/V.34 data/fax modem -- an affordable solution for ultra-high-speed access to the Internet. It also offers Windows 95 Plug and Play compatibility, telephony (CallerID and telephone answering device features), and voice (speakerphone and digital simultaneous voice over data (DSVD)). - Uses a standard Hayes-AT-compatible command set and is compatible with most popular data and fax communication software applications.
- The V.90 Modem Internet Kit also includes a CD-ROM with a collection of Internet tools and a clip-on microphone.

Limitations: - V.90 and x2 56K modems are designed to receive data at up to 56 Kbps from a compatible V.90 or x2 service provider, and to transmit data at up to 33.6 Kbps. Public networks currently limit maximum download speeds to about 53 Kbps. Actual speeds depend on many factors and are often less than the maximum possible.
- The modem does not run under native DOS, OS/2, or UNIX operating environments.
