Located on the front of the ThinkPad

• The latches

With the cover open you can see:

• The display and the ThinkLight.
• These status indicators:
  • Bluetooth and Wireless for models equipped with these features
  • Drive activity
  • Num lock
  • Caps lock
  • Scroll lock
  • Power on
  • Battery, and
  • Standby mode

These buttons across the top of the keyboard bezel:

• Access IBM
• Volume-down
• Volume-up
• Mute
• Power switch

Note the F5 function key, which is used to toggle the wireless features on and off.

The TrackPoint pointing stick with TrackPoint buttons.

NOTE: Three different styles of TrackPoint covers will be shipped with each machine. Some models will have the UltraNav pointing system that includes both the full function TrackPoint along with a customized touch pad and touch pad buttons.

Located on the right side of the ThinkPad

• The Ultrabay Plus
• The Ultrabay Plus ejection handle
• The Ultrabay Plus release latch

Some models will only have a non-removable device bay.
