This DVD-Video Player Upgrade package updates the DVD-Video Player feature in the ThinkPad system.

This release supports the following systems:
- ThinkPad S30
- ThinkPad i Series S30

This file is EXTREMELY large (16MB)!! With a 40K connection, it will take approximately 2 hours to download.
Additional information

NOTE: This driver will now automatically extract to your hard disk drive. It will only extract under Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows Me, Microsoft Windows NT, and Microsoft Windows 2000.

Installation instructions
This package cannot be installed without the Mediamatics DVDExpress DVD-Video player installed on the system. This package is for upgrade purposes only.

  1. Start Microsoft Windows.
  2. Extract the package to your hard disk drive.
  3. Click Start, then click Run.
  4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\DVD\SETUP.EXE to install the upgrade DVD player. Click OK to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
  5. At the Welcome screen, click the Next button.
  6. If you agree to the license agreement, click the Yes button.
  7. To install to the default directory, click the Next button. It will uninstall the previous player, and then install the updated player.
  8. At the setup is complete window, click the Finish button.

Determining which version is installed

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Mediamatics DVDExpress, then click Mediamatics DVD Player.
  2. When the DVD Panel player is launched, click the Options button. The Options button has an Envelope Icon on it and is on the left side of the player.
  3. By default, the About tab is displayed, the program version is displayed on the line that says Build version.
