Offline folder capability is not working normally in Microsoft Windows 7 - ThinkPad
Symptom

User will observe that when they enable the Offline folders in Windows 7 after a required reboot that the Offline folders are not enabled.

 

Affected configuration

The following ThinkPad systems running on Windows 7 may be affected by this symptom:

  • Edge E120, E125, E220s, E320, E325
  • E420, E420s, E425, E520, E525
  • L420, L421, L520
  • T420, T420i, T420s, T420si
  • T520, T520i
  • W520
  • X1, X1 Hybrid
  • X121e, X130e
  • X220, X220i, X220 Tablet, X220i Tablet

 

Solution

User should update the RapidBoot driver to version 1.12 or later.  Once installed, the Offline folder function will function normally.
