Toolbar icon for the Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox disappears - ThinkCentre A70, M91, M91p
Symptom

The user can click a toolbar icon to start the Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox on the taskbar on Windows 7 systems. On occasion, this toolbar icon can disappear from the taskbar.

Affected configurations

The above symptom is associated with, but not limited to, the following systems:

  • ThinkCentre A70, M91, M91p

Applies to:

  • Microsoft Windows 7
Fix

None. Do not replace any hardware for this issue.

Workaround

Re-enable the toolbar icon by following these steps:

  • Right click on the Windows task bar at the bottom of the screen.
  • Move the mouse cursor to "Toolbars" in the pop up menu.
  • Click on "Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox" > the toolbar icon is visible again.
