Unknown "PCI Device" in device manager after RIS installation - ThinkCentre A52, M52
Symptom
An unknown "PCI Device" is listed in the device manager after performing a Remote Installation (RIS) of Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP. This issue also occurs when installing a retail version of the operating system.

Affected configurations
Any of the following systems running Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP, cofigured with the on-board HD SoundMax audio:
  • ThinkCentre A52 (type 8153, 8154, 8155, 8156, 8157, 8158, 8159, 8160, 8161, 8162, 8163, 8164, 8165, 8166, 8167, 8168, 8169, 8170)
  • ThinkCentre M52 (type 8099, 8110, 8111, 8112, 8113, 8114, 8115, 8116, 8211, 8212, 8213, 8214, 8215, 9210, 9211)
