Flash BIOS update - PUJT22A - NetVista 6266, 6270, 6276, 6279, 6280, 6286

This package updates the basic input-output system (BIOS) on IBM NetVista 6266, 6270, 6276, 6279, 6280, and 6286 systems.

BIOS is programming that controls low-level hardware operations, including interactions with diskette drives, hard disk drives, and the keyboard. The BIOS is stored on a chip. Your computer uses flash BIOS, which can be updated through a program on a flash diskette so that you do not have to replace the BIOS chip to update the BIOS.

Note: Make note of any settings you have changed in the BIOS Configuration Utility. These settings may have to be re-entered after updating the BIOS.

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.

Installing the update
Follow the instructions provided in the corresponding txt file from above.
pujt22a.txt is for use with the diskette version of this update (pujt22a.exe).
pu1z22us.txt is for use with the Flash from Operating System version of this update(pu1z22us.exe).
