Windows Live Service Agreement may intermittently show truncated characters - ThinkCentre, ThinkPad, ThinkStation
Symptom
The user may see the following abnormal Windows Live Service Agreement with truncated characters.
Affected configurations
Any of the following systems running Microsoft Windows XP Home, XP Professional, Windows Vista or Windows 7, but not limited to the following systems:
ThinkCentre (All models)
ThinkPad (All models)
ThinkStation (All models)
Additional Information:
Preload Windows 7 with Windows Live included.
After the preload has completed, go to the Desktop and the normal Windows Live Service Agreement will pop up automatically:
Click "Accept" and "Finish" button to close the Service Agreement window.
Intermittently during a system reboot, an abnormal Windows Live Service Agreement with truncated characters may appear again.
Workaround
This issue is an intermittent issue. Please close the window by clicking on the top-right "X" button on the title bar since the License Agreement has previously been accepted.
There is no any data lose or functional reduction for the end user.
