How to access the System Configuration Utility - Desktops

System Configuration Utility

The System Configuration Utility is sometimes referred to as the Setup Utility program.

Note: A customized setup configuration (other than default settings) might exist on the computer you are servicing. Running the System Configuration Utility might alter those settings. Note the current configuration settings and verify that the settings are in place when service is complete.

The System Configuration Utility is stored in the permanent memory of the computer. This program includes settings for the following:

  • System Summary
  • Product Data
  • Devices and I/O Ports
  • Start Options
  • Date and Time
  • System Security
  • Advanced Setup
  • Power Management
NetVista systems
