Lenovo Linux Diagnostics is a diagnostic tool that tests the memory and hard drives in Lenovo ThinkPad, ThinkCentre and ThinkStation on Linux.

1. Click the file links to download the files from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded files.

Log on console as root:
su-

To install the packages, it is necessary to uninstall all previous versions of Lenovo Linux Diagnostics.
rpm - aq | grep ldiag (to check if there is an installed version)
and
rpm -e "installed version" (to remove the installed version)

After that, just execute:
rpm -ivh suse-x86-15.rpm

Choose the language you wish to install with when the windows pops up.

Log on console as root:
su-

Navigate to the folder where the app is installed and execute:
ui

Log on console as root:
su-

Execute:
rpm - aq | grep ldiag (to check if there is an installed version)
and
rpm -e "installed version" (to remove the installed version)

• SATA Controller Mode needs to be set to AHCI in system BIOS if the system doesn't use UEFI BIOS.
• Command window size has to be at least 115 x 27 to launch the application.
