Logging in to the operating system using a fingerprint fails when the computer name is changed - All ThinkPad with the Lenovo Fingerprint Software installed.

Symptom

The user cannot log in to the operating system using a fingerprint after changing the computer name and restarting the computer.

Affected configurations

All ThinkPad® computers with the Lenovo Fingerprint Software installed.

Solution

To solve the problem, use your password to log in to the operating system and then re-enroll fingerprints.
